Claudia R. Posada APRN, FNP-BC
Claudia R. Posada is an APRN, FNP-BC with more than 22 years of experience in family practice. She graduated from the University of Texas Pan American in 2001 with a bachelor's in nursing.
Claudia worked as a labor and delivery nurse before going back to school for her Masters in 2005. She worked with a local OB/GYN her first year as a Nurse Practitioner. The following year she had the opportunity to discover how much she loved family practice. She loves that family practice encompasses comprehensive health care for people of all ages, both sexes, each organ system, and every disease entity. Claudia is passionate about helping patients look their best and feel their most confident.
Claudia is a member of the Junior League of Harlingen. She believes in the importance of giving back to the community, empowering the potential of women, and improving communities through effective action and leadership.
Claudia serves as GEMS chair (Girls Education Mentoring Series), and closely collaborates with HCISD to target middle school girls, encouraging an honest conversation about a girls' world and helping create a sense of support and sisterhood. She serves as a member of the Harlingen Area Educational Foundation (HAEF) and serves as the President of the Softball Booster.
